By participating in the National Safe Digging Month Giveaway, participants consent to the following rules and conditions set forth by USA North 811.

Duration

The National Safe Digging Month Giveaway will consist of four weeks of giveaways where Participant(s) may enter into each week's giveaway by following the rules outlined for entry below. The schedule of each week's giveaway will be:

1st Week (April 6th - April 10th):

The giveaway period will start on Monday, April 6th 2026 at 9:00 AM PST with the publishing of that week's designated "National Safe Digging Month Giveaway" post on USA North 811's Instagram, Facebook & X accounts. A bonus "National Safe Digging Month Message" post will be published on Wednesday, April 8th 2026 at 9:00 AM PST on the above mentioned social media accounts. This week's giveaway period will end on Friday, April 10th 2026 at 9:00 AM PST where a winner will be selected and announced.

2nd Week (April 13th - April 17th):

The giveaway period will start on Monday, April 13th 2026 at 9:00 AM PST with the publishing of that week's designated "National Safe Digging Month Giveaway" post on USA North 811's Instagram, Facebook & X accounts. A bonus "National Safe Digging Month Message" post will be published on Wednesday, April 15th 2026 at 9:00 AM PST on the above mentioned social media accounts. This week's giveaway period will end on Friday, April 17th 2026 at 9:00 AM PST where a winner will be selected and announced.

3rd Week (April 20th - April 24th):

The giveaway period will start on Monday, April 20th 2026 at 9:00 AM PST with the publishing of that week's designated "National Safe Digging Month Giveaway" post on USA North 811's Instagram, Facebook & X accounts. A bonus "National Safe Digging Month Message" post will be published on Wednesday, April 22nd 2026 at 9:00 AM PST on the above mentioned social media accounts. This week's giveaway period will end on Friday, April 24th 2026 at 9:00 AM PST where a winner will be selected and announced.

4th Week (April 27th - May 1st):

The giveaway period will start on Monday, April 27th 2026 at 9:00 AM PST with the publishing of that week's designated "National Safe Digging Month Giveaway" post on USA North 811's Instagram, Facebook & X accounts. A bonus "National Safe Digging Month Message" post will be published on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 9:00 AM PST on the above mentioned social media accounts. This week's giveaway period will end on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 9:00 AM PST where a winner will be selected and announced.

Any entries made after the specified end date of each week's giveaway will be disqualified.

Entry

No purchase necessary to enter into the giveaway and win. Four (4) winners will be selected at random to win one (1) prize each. One (1) winner will be selected on each Friday in April excluding Friday, April 3rd 2026. One (1) winner will be selected on Friday, May 1st 2026. No repeat winners will be selected. Participant(s) must be 18 years or older and live in the Continental United States to enter. Alaska and Hawaii are excluded from this giveaway.

Participant(s) can enter into the Giveaway through USA North 811's Facebook, Instagram and X accounts.

To enter through Instagram, Participants must:

  • Tag (3) three users on the designated week's National Safe Digging Month Giveaway tweet published on Monday.

a. To receive a bonus entry through Twitter, Participants must:

  • Follow the official "@usanorth811" X account.
  • Like the designated week's National Safe Digging Month Message tweet published on Wednesday.
  • Tag (3) three users on the designated week's National Safe Digging Month Message tweet published on Wednesday.

By completing the above requirements, Participant(s) can submit up to two (2) entries per social media channel (Instagram, Facebook, X). Participant(s) can submit up to six (6) entries each week in total.

Any participant(s) who does not fulfill the complete requirements to enter will be disqualified from the giveaway. USA North 811 is not responsible for any technical difficulties related to the National Safe Digging Month Giveaway.

Prizes

One (1) prize will be awarded to the Participant selected on the Friday of each week in April and the first day of May. Each Week's designated giveaway prizes will be:

  • 1st Week's designated prize: One (1) JBL Flip 7 Speaker
  • 2nd Week's designated prize: One (1) RTIC Ultra-Dry Backpack
  • 3rd Week's designated prize: One (1) RTIC 20 Can Soft Cooler
  • 4th Week's designated prize: One (1) Digital Amazon Gift Card with $500 value

No repeat winners. Prizes may not be redeemed for cash value, exchanged for other prizes, or combined with any other offers.

All prizes will be shipped directly to the Winner's provided shipping address. USA North 811 will pay for the cost of standard shipping provided by each shipping provider, manufacturer, or seller. USA North 811 is not responsible for any damage, delay, unforeseen costs, theft, or failure to deliver items. Any issues arising from the shipping of items will need to be handled directly with the Shipping Provider or Service used to ship items and the Winner of that item. USA North 811 is not responsible for incorrect or invalid shipping addresses. In the event that a shipping address is incorrect or needs to be changed or updated, the Winner will pay the additional cost for shipping the item to the corrected and/or updated shipping address. Giveaway prizes are dependent on manufacturer availability and are subject to change if item is unavailable. USA North 811 may add, edit, or remove the personalization elements of a giveaway item, including color, logos, titles, and/or text. Photos of items included in social media posts are examples of the item that can be awarded. These images do not represent the exact item that will be provided to winners.

Selection of Winners

On the Friday of each week, USA North 811 will collect all eligible entries from the previous Monday and Wednesday posts on each social media account (Facebook, Instagram and X) and select one (1) Participant at random. Participant(s) will be selected from eligible entries on USA North 811's Facebook, Instagram and X National Safe Digging Month Giveaway and Bonus Message Posts. Winners will be contacted directly through a direct message and announced on USA North 811's Facebook, Instagram and X accounts when applicable. If a Participant has not completed all of the required rules for entry, they will be disqualified and another Participant will be selected.

In order to redeem a prize, Winners will need to provide a valid shipping address within the Continental United States (Alaska and Hawaii are excluded from this giveaway). If a Winner fails to provide a valid shipping address within 24 hours of being notified about the prize, they will be disqualified from the Giveaway and another Participant will be selected at random.
